The Poore Family Foundation, an early intervener against the Northern Pass high voltage power line project in NH, will be hosting a victory party and a live music concert at the Poore Family Homestead Historic Farm Museum on August 10th to celebrate and honor all those who fought hard to protect the landscape and lifestyle that we all cherish in the North Country and beyond.

Please join us. All are welcome. 


The celebration will conclude with the burning of a mock high voltage tower and reports in effigy of the Northern Pass disaster, Bring what literature and paraphernalia that you need to add to the bon fire!...

Hallie Day and Kyle Haley:
Hallie was one of the top contenders of the popular American-Idle Television series, Season 11. Kyle and Hallie have been playing together for over four years. His creative acoustic adaptations coupled with Hallie’s soulful perspective on music makes for a unique sound. Hallie and Kyle have enjoyed performing their own original
and unique cover songs all across the North-Country. Hallie’s rendition of classic rhythm and blues songs, along with her and Kyle’s original compilations will leave you in awe! Don’t miss this outstanding performance.

Michael Hahn Band:
The Michael Hahn Band features: John Pheiffer on cello, Dr. Bob Primeau on drums, Sid Gulick on guitar, Dan Keenan on bass, and Donna Delmoora on backing vocals. Michael sings and plays guitar. Their eclectic blend of rock, country, blues and reggae music from the 1950s until the present will please any audience.
Michael has performed for decades with popular dance bands, including Hornbeam; Don’t Call Betty; Hoochie Lombardo; Whetstone and Ten Mile Shuffle Band. Michael was a six-time winner of the defunct internet songwriting contest at www.tuneflow.com, and one of his songs was a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition.


The party and concert will take place on the grounds of the 100-acre Poore Museum property, on Saturday August 10th.
at the Museum’s amphitheater and stage venue, just 

off NH Route 145 in Stewartstown, NH. 7 miles north of Colebrook.

The Poore Family Foundation is hosting a two-concert event, on Saturday, August 11th; Gates open at 10:00 am,

This year we will show case two talented and accomplished musicians, Hallie Day and Michael Hahn.  Music and vocals will span across a diverse range of rock, country, blues, reggae, soul, Americana, folk and MORE!

There is a growing interest in and the necessity for locally grown and organic produce, homesteading, permaculture, medicinal Herbs and Fungi and to reconnect with the land. The Poore Farm is the perfect venue for this and an example and resource for education and connecting those that are like-minded. This year we will be further engaging the local community, by bringing in educators, homesteaders, Bee keepers, horticulturalist, herbalists and farmers from the surrounding area for educational and demonstration purposes.
